Have more questions about wrinkle treatments? Here are the answers our Santa Barbara and Los Olivos patients ask us most.

It depends on the type of wrinkle. Dynamic wrinkles caused by facial movement, like frown lines and crow’s feet, typically respond best to Botox or DAXXIFY. Static wrinkles caused by volume loss usually respond better to dermal fillers or Sculptra. Many patients combine treatments for a more complete result, which is why we start every visit with a consultation.

Results vary by treatment. Botox and DAXXIFY typically last three to five months, dermal fillers can last six months to over a year depending on the product, and Sculptra results can last more than two years. RF microneedling and laser treatments build collagen gradually, so results tend to build and hold over time with periodic touch-ups.

There is no set age. Some patients start in their late twenties or early thirties with preventive Botox to slow the formation of new lines, while others wait until fine lines are more established. We assess your skin during a consultation and recommend a treatment timeline based on your goals, not a number.

Most wrinkle treatments at The G Spa involve little to no downtime. You may see mild redness or swelling after injectables or RF microneedling that settles within a day or two, and most patients return to normal activities right away.

Our goal is always a natural, refreshed look, never a frozen one. We use precise dosing and injection technique so your expressions still move naturally. If you prefer a very subtle result, tell us during your consultation and we will adjust the plan accordingly.

Pricing depends on the treatment, the area being treated, and how much product or how many sessions you need. Neuromodulators are typically priced per unit, while fillers and skin technology treatments are priced per syringe or per session. We provide exact pricing after your consultation so there are no surprises.

Yes, and many patients do. A common approach pairs Botox or DAXXIFY for dynamic wrinkles with dermal fillers or Sculptra for volume loss, then adds RF microneedling or laser treatments to improve overall skin texture. We map out a combined plan during your consultation based on your goals and budget.
